16 oz can
Pours a clear medium golden color, foamy white head. Pretty good head retention. Bready pils malt, a touch sweet in the middle. Nice earthy noble hop aroma and medium bitterness. Thin to medium bodied

Shy Bear Brewing "Logan Guard"
$5.25/pint on tap at the brewery on 13 August 2022
Notes: This is a Bavarian Pilsner with 32 IBUs at 5.6% ABV. The body is a clear gold beneath a short head of white foam. Smeetish and grainy malt dominates the aroma with some very mild floral and herbal hops fluttering about. The flavor follows but with more hop presence. The bitterness is superbly balanced allowing it to appear sweetish upfront, rising across the middle, and then drying it in the finish. It's medium bodied and crisp across the tongue with a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation. Nicely done.

16oz can into a pint glass. Picked up a 4 pack at the brewery this afternoon. Listed by brewery and can as a German Pilsner. Update sent to admin.
Pours a clear pale golden yellow body with initially a decent white head. This shrinks to a faint covering. Good carbonation at first
Musty, yeasty aroma.
On tasting, this is a well balanced pilsner. Light hop bite, good slightly sweet malt base, with a nice yeast note. Hits all the right notes.
Mouth is a bit on the light side, finish a slightly yeasty grassiness.
Overall, a nice refreshing extremely drinkable beer. Happy to have another 3. First beer from Shy Bear, hopefully the first of many.
