We jam packed Citra and Julius hops in this hazy beast at a rate of four pounds per barrel. Intensely hoppy with an interesting orange juice quality this beer is strictly for hardcore IPA fans while responsibly drinking from a distance.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed dull golden pour with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Nice ring of sticky lacing.
S: Orange citrus hops and mango. Some tropical notes.
T.F: Big time orange... semi-sweet to start. Citrus and tangerine mixed with mango. Not much bitterness to speak of. Creamy mouthfeel. Smooth and sticky. Medium bodied... hides that ABV.
O: An outstanding NEIPA and a great effort from Shy Bear. Love the julius hops. This one's well worth it.

Pours and nice orange amber. Beautiful color. Only downfall it the very flat looking head. Other than the zero head it a nice looking beer.
Smell: big Citra nose. You can tell right away that there a bunch of Citra coming your way. Honestly smells like a fresh bag of citra when you first open. Overall big juicy smell.
Taste: big citrus/orange punch. Delicious. This is a beer you can sit back and concentrate on and feel the taste of big citrus push through.
Feel: Very smooth and washing over you with little residual bitterness. Extremely easy drinker. Honestly would be interested in seeing how a tad more carbonation would bring out more of the flavor.
Overall: First Shy Bear beer I’ve had nut I’ extremely impressed. Great citrus taste and very well balanced for an 8.6. Excited to try more from them.
