16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating but this Falls release. Bought at the brewery.
Splendid looking body, deep reddish auburn. The loose bubbly tannish head fizzes away quickly, no lacing
Smooth mild pumpkin spice aroma.
On tasting, spice mix stronger than the nose would suggest, but a good balance, no harsh or bitter notes. Pumpkin puree is also used here, which may account for the smoothness.
Mouth closer to full than medium. Finish a progression from sweet to pumpkin spice to warming.
Overall, another well above average beer from Shy Bear. If you find yourself anywhere near Lewistown Pa, stop in at the brewery, cool place.
