16oz can into a pint glass. Purchased at the brewery this evening. Brewed with New Zealand hops, Takau, Motueka, and Taiheke.
Looks good, hazy dull yellow body with a persistent white head leaving scattered lacing.
Decent hoppy aroma.
On tasting, hoppy, restrained, easy drinking, almost sessionable.
Mouth closer to full than medium, finish hoppy with a featherlight bitter note.
Overall, nice enough beer, grew on me. Cant help but wonder if they had thrown caution to the wind and went all out on the hop profile, what would be the result?
