16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.
Nice looking beer. Black body, small tan head, dripping rings of lacing. Aroma is lightly smoky with a hint of ash. Strong tasting drink, smokiness is restrained, light sweetness, even a little meaty. Mouth is barely above medium, finish is malty with that light smoke and a touch of roast.
Overall, another nice clean beer from Shy Bear. They are not afraid to put out the more unusual styles, and always do a nice job with them.
