7/19/24, finally made it!
Nice mineral and malt aroma. Flavors are outstanding! Cherry, molasses, brown sugar, brown bread. The softness of the oatmeal comes through and a nice stitch of carbonation tickles the tongue. Such a great offering.

16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating.
Mixed look to this one. Nice dark brown body, but head fizzes away very quickly, no lacing. Aroma is quite muted. However the taste is not. Full bodied strong brown ale flavor, light roast, a touch of sweetness, toffee. Finish is delightfully smooth and lingers.
Overall, though the look and aroma aren't much to write home about, the important parts, taste and finish, are very good. As a West Ham fan, would have been disappointed with a below par beer, but this is a good one. Then again, Hammers fans have to get used to disappointment. But,......COYI!!!!!.
