On tap at brewery. Trip from State College to Harrisburg after Mom's birthday!
This is what beer in England should taste like!
Almost red grape juice in color, it's a beauty in the glass.
Rich dried fruit aromas coupled with deep dark malts makes you close your eyes and sigh sweetly.
Taste follows beautifully. Has a lovely warming alcohol sensation.

On tap at the brewery earlier this afternoon.
Clear dark burgundy body with a short lasting loose bubbly head. No lacing. Aroma is enticing, both fresh and dried dark fruit, and strongly of malt. On tasting, the aroma carries over well with the addition of some red wine notes. Finish is long, and where a black pepper spice note appears.
Overall, a fine beer indeed. Wish I had the patience to let it warm up, as the drink does improve at the end.
