Imagine, if you will, sitting at your formica kitchenette set, the metal frames mirror polish distorting reflections of the yellow pine cabinets. Hearing the low crackle of a playoff game coming from the living room intermingling with the faint stomping buzz of, "I get by with a little help from my friends" drifting down from your sisters bedroom. The linoleum is cool under your feet, and the smell of your mom's banana bread is filling the room with a subtle warmth.

On tap at brewery.
Banana and brown sugar aromas.
Pretty sweet, cherry and brown sugar come through mostly. Nice soft mouthfeel. Warming. Definitely an Imperial! Think dessert!

12oz bottle into a small goblet. Picked up at the brewery last Sunday.
Darkest brown body. Short lived head no lacing. Aroma is rich, boozy, with faint notes of coffee and chocolate. This carries over into the taste, strongly malty, abv apparent, and the lightest of roasts. There are some bursts of sweetness. Finish is warming and rich.
Overall, a decent drink. Of course, the elephant in the room is the complete absence of any banana or banana bread, which makes me think it has faded away since bottling. A shame, as I was looking forward to that part.
