This S.ingle M.alt A.nd S.ingle H.op ale is meant as a showcase for both hops and malts that we find interesting, this first iteration uses Best red x - a German Munich type malt that has characteristics of passion fruit and sherry. Our hop is Emerald Spire – a Michigan grown cultivar that has the aroma of peach, white grapes, melon and fruit punch with a champagne like finish.

On tap at brewery. Trip from State College to Harrisburg after Mom's birthday.
Gorgeous amber red in the glass. Lovely, sweet, malt and oat aroma with a slight mineral ending.
There a slight sweetness on the first sip the busy into sharp, grapefruit peel bitterness. Ends with a lovely sherry finish.
