This terrifying ale is deep copper in color with rich toasted caramel malts, and features pumpkin puree, bourbon vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Captain Howdy doesn't want you to drink this beer, but the power of pumpkin compels you.

A- copper tone in color with floating yeast throughout. Half finger head that dissipates quickly.
S- pumpkin, clove and earthy malt.
F- strong pumpkin and clove flavoring initially. The back end is malty but not overly malty.
M- creamy and chewy like eating a pumpkin pie with alcohol in it.
O-not a bad brew. i would have this again.

On tap at the brewery earlier this evening.
Dark copper body with a small loose bubbly head. Aroma is lightly of pumpkin spices. On tasting, smooth, lightly spiced, decent pumpkin flavor. Finish is smooth and clean, not a hint of spice bitterness.
Overall, middle of the road in the emmie series, but a well put together drink, avoiding the pitfalls of a pumpkin spice beer.
