Pours a dark nutty brown with a very eager, khaki foam that grows enormous from the very onset of the draft pour. Aroma is clove, chocolate, spicy, herbal hops. Flavor profile brings forward more chocolate, with hints of toffee and molasses. Chocolate is more of a baker's variety - lightly dry. Spicy hops and zesty cloves add balance and contrast to the initial sweetness. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a little prickly effervescence that develops a crisp texture. Overall, lightly chocolatey with great balance and texture.
