good, clean, but maybe not crisp enough to warrant this name, cool cans, all their packaging is great, and this is flavorful and more than a mindless drinker, the pils malt defines this in aroma and flavor, and while its refreshing when frosty cold, its more than that as it warms, almost helles or even dortmunder character to it, more than neutral on the lager yeast to be sure, and i dig all of it, its on the dry side and fast enough finishing, but im not sure crispy is my first describing word for this. i love how refined it is though, how much they have pulled from the crackery earthy european tasting malt, to me it almost has decocted level flavor, a compliment, especially because it probably was not made that way. i think this was designed to pair with food from the burger truck they have parked out front, and i could see this being great cutting fat and meaty richness, its light enough for that without being so weak as to get overwhelmed, well designed if that was the case, but i think it stands on its own as drinker independent of any food context too, and has way more to it than most american lager types, this definitely leans pils. the hops are noble to me, only lightly bitter, and adda refreshing back end balance. nice water chemistry, tidy the whole way, simple but not minimal if that makes sense, and i also mean that to be a compliment. good stuff, we crushed the four pack and wished we had bought more...
