We took our version of a traditional cream ale, blended multiple yeast strains and hopped it prohibition style right before kissing it with real strawberries. We can only hope we paid the lord of the sea his proper due.

On tap at Mortalis Brewing Company in Avon, NY. This is the version with coconut added as well.
This one pours a clear light yellow color, with a small headand not much lacing.
This smells like slightly tart strawberry, toasted coconut, andp a touch of grainy sweetness.
Though this definitely smelled pretty great, the taste was a bit disappointing. The coconut and strawberry clashed, as the strawberry felt slightly tart. The coconut flavor is definitely pretty nice, though. You don't get a ton of the base cream ale, other than a little bit of grainy and malty sweetness.
This is very light bodied, and pretty crisp, with a typical level of carbonation.
This has probably been my least favorite from them so far. The fact that it's still pretty good shows that Mortalis is killing it so far.
