This is the second beer in a series of exploration of flavors. We used several of our favorite hops combining them with nontraditional malts. We get candy oranges, dripping with honey malts and citrus.

On tap at Mortalis Brewing Company in Avon, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells mainly like guava, lemon, and lots of cantaloupe melon, with some bitter grapefruit and grassy hops as well.
This is really quite good. There's candied oranges, guava, sweet lemon, grapefruit rind, grassy hops, and a nice melon character. There's no malt character at all.
This is lighter bodied, with a crisp and clean mouthfeel, and a nice level of drinkability.
This might have been my favorite IPA yet from Mortalis. They are killing it.
