The goddess of night! We start out by cold steeping the dark grains to bring about a brownie like smell and flavor, pitch black in color the goddess takes to the night skies. Roasted barley backbone and complex malts compliment the vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and toasted coconut that fight for control of your soul. Once she has you... there is no turning back.

Thanks for the share Nick! Slate black body with a brown cap. Aromas of gooey semi-sweet chocolate, coconut, vanilla, slight brown sugar, and almond. Very aromatic, could smell it feet away. Taste is pure and wholesome, german chocolate cake with huge coconut and fudgey chocolate leading powerfully, other flavors from nose accent. Feel is actually not too heavy, and easily hides the booze, velvet smooth. Wonderful, the wife loved it

On tap at Mortalis Brewing Company in Avon, NY.
This one pours a super dark and inky looking black, with a very small head, and no lacing.
This smells just stupid incredible- there's a soft sweet toasted coconut thing, some caramel, vanilla sweetness, and fudgy chocolate all over. This is pastry stout at its most aromatic.
This is really well done. I expected it to be a coconut bomb, and it's not quite that. The coconut is present and very well done, but it's a greater part of a whole. There's also a solid amount of vanilla sweetness, and some dark chocolate. The base is well done, roasty and super thickly flavored.
This is thick (t h i c c) creamy and rich, with a very full body, but a paradoxically high level of drinkability. I could crush a lot of this.
I need to try every stout this brewery is ever gonna do. This is delightful.
