On tap at Mortalis Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one poursa fairly dark brown color, nearly black, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells a lot like strawberry jam, with some milk chocolate, and very light roast.
The strawberry added here makes this quite sweet- I want a little bit of roast to balance it out. I think the first Venus beats this a little bit. It's still a very tasty beer, with a great creamy chocolatey backbone.
This is medium bodied and delightfully creamy, with a great level of drinkability.
I think the first iteration of this series was a bit beter, but this is still a great beer nonetheless.
