Matte black with an airy, pock-marked tan head leaving bacterial mat lacing on the glass.
This is kind of sharp as the medium-thin body is lightly crisp and features cocoa, nutty cracker and hints of marshmallow.
The semi-dry finish is mostly clean and not decadent in the least, which relative to some of their other beers is a surprise.

On tap at Mortalis Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small foamy head and a decent of lacing.
Nobody should be surprised that this actually smells like a cannoli - there’s that sweet pastry crust, lots of vanilla, and milk chocolate, along with a touch of that creamy mascarpone.
As detailed above in the aroma, this absolutely nailed the vibe of a cannoli covered in rich milk chocolate. The body seems bigger than the other entries in the Venus series, giving the flavors a bigger pop and a bigger richness.
This is creamy and surprisingly thick, with a great level of drinkability to it.
It’s hard to argue with the execution of this. It’s pretty lovely.
