This base Russian Imperial Stout has been aged in a local store pick 10 year OESV Four Roses barrel for 9 months. After aging, it was then conditioned on toasted coconut to create a rich and deliciously smooth flavor that fights for control of your soul. This beer is pitch black in color and like the Goddess of Night, when it has you there is no turning back!

The best coconut imperial stout I’ve ever had. Very good sweetness dark color drinkable at 12% ABV. Extremely smooth a must try for beer lovers. Had in J Wake.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells like coconut cream and caramelized coconut syrup, oak, chocolate fudge, and maple, interestingly.
There's not a ton of barrel here, as the coconut just hits you with wave after wave of tropical toasty goodness. This feels super concentrated in flavor, much like the base. The barrel does add a touch of spicy oakiness which helps a lot. The base beer is so unbelievably thick and gooey and fudgy - it's so good.
This is thick and quite chewy, with a great mouthfeel, and no booziness at all.
This is probably the best beer Mortalis ever done - at the very least gives AASB a run for its money.
