This Imperial Stout showcases Dominican cacao nibs and raspberry puree. The flavors blend together to create a thick, decadent chocolate covered raspberry.

16 oz can, no date but picked up at the brewery's "The Richmond" taproom a couple weeks ago
Pours jet black, with dark brown colored head that eventually fades. aroma of bright raspberry, milk chocolate, and a touch of sugary marshmallow. taste has the similar flavors, and is definitely "pastry stout" sweet. very thick mouthfeel, slick and a little oily.

Had on tap at MB; very good SOP MB Imp Stout brew, but just not in my wheelhouse… not a chocolate covered fruit person. So for me a bit heavy on cacao in base, and way Raspberry (as advertised)… but too much for my taste.

5oz snifter glass at Northern Taphouse Plymouth.
Dark reddish brown colored body. Slight foaming and just a couple spots of lacing.
Aroma is roasted malt, with dark chocolate and raspberry.
Taste is chocolate covered raspberry, which is relatively unsweetened. Slight sour from the raspberry.
Mouth feel is silky, with a carbonated tongue buzz. Dry finish. Supportive carbonation.
Blend of chocolate and raspberry go well together, and this combination is not overly sweet.
