Crowler from Mortalis Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like nuttiness and pecan, vanilla, caramel, milk sugar, and chocolate. The aroma just leaps out of the glass with rich nutty goodness.
The taste doesn't pop quite as hard as the aroma does, but it's still a delicious beer. That sugar cookie and vanilla base is a great canvas for the coffee here, which provides a crazy tasty candied nuttiness to it. There's a touch of fruitiness, but it's mainly just pecan and walnut here - so delicious.
This is slightly thin and watery, but still very drinkable, with a pretty good level of creaminess.
I really like the idea of this series, and I prefer this one to the other one I tried - Yemen Lot.
