This Stout does not match its appearance. It is a full-bodied golden stout conditioned on Vermont maple syrup, Canadian maple leaf cookies and local coffee. DO NOT DRINK TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN!

Thin bubbly lacing, opaque rich caramel body. The smell is distinctly yuppie coffee house. Coffee hits the tongue, followed by half maple syrup, half mrs. buttersworth. The finish is an amalgamation if coffee and maple soaked pancakes. Make no mistake, there is a power bar aftertaste.
Very drinkable golden stout at 10%, but the recurring coffee flavors are as distracting as a tattooed barista.

This one pours a light golden orange/amber color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like clean roasty coffee, maple candy, chocolate, cookie dough, roast, and molasses.
The maple goes super well with the base beer here, and melds well with he roasty, chocolate, and vanilla-like flavors from the coffee. There's sugar cookie and cookie dough, caramelized sugar and maple candies, roast, light chocolate, and a nice smattering of vanilla.
This is medium bodied, crisp, slightly creamy, and very drinkable, with basically no booziness.
This is a variant that was always going to work for me. This is hard to beat.
