The 9 Muses series is an exploration in blending a light sour Gose base beer with additions of fruit & summertime flavors. This version features Raspberry, Pineapple, Orange, Key Lime, and milk sugar. Rainbow Sherbet!

Crowler from Mortalis Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one pours a light and slightly murky pinkish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This definitely smells like rainbow sherbet, with vanilla and milk sugar jumping out, and lots of lime and raspberry. The orange and pineapple is less apparent.
This isn't quite the fruit smoothieplosion that Hydra/Cerberus/Typhon/etc, and that honestly works for me. I like the 9 Muses series for that reason. It's crisper, and definitely evokes what it's trying to do with the rainbow sherbert. It's lightly creamy, with seemingly just the right amount of lactose.
This is creamy, soft, and super drinkable, with a fruity and not-very-sour-at-all feel to it, like most of Mortalis' sours.
This evokes some good summer feelings.
