L: Opaque red body with visible sediment. Short pink head.

S: Strawberry is the dominant scent. Some light vanilla too. Very sweet, but in a good way.

T: Sweet strawberries, some light lime zest. Leans way more sweet than sour.

F: Juicy with light carbonation.

O: Could’ve added more lime and rum flavors since this doesn’t really taste like a strawberry daiquiri. Still very good.

A strawberry daiquiri seems like such a no brainer for Mortalis to emulate in a Smoothie Sour that I’m shocked it’s taken them until now to do it. Let’s see how well they can mimic this classic cocktail

Pours an opaque pinkish red with 2 fingers of creamy pinkish white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves nice sheets of lacing

It’s a bit sweeter than I was expecting in the nose, but it’s still damn good. I’m picking up on aromas of juicy strawberry, orange juice, doughy malt, lime zest, vanilla, light mango skin, and pineapple

It’s even sweeter in taste, definitely a downgrade but it’s still enjoyable. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting juicy strawberry, red grape, doughy malt, orange juice, lime zest, and light lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of juicy strawberry, orange juice, mango skin, lemon zest, doughy malt, and light lime juice

A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries out over time

I was hoping for a bit more with this one, but I’m certainly not complaining about what it is

 

pours pinkish red hazy- big thick head that stays - not into sours but this was the best i/'ve ever had - tastes like a strawberry sundae - not real sour big flavor

 

 

 

Very sweet.
