No canning date. Can to snifter.
L: Pours a muddy light red with no head at all and just a tiny bit of lacing. Packed with very fine-grained fruit sediment.
S: Ripe plum and notes of pastry dough are dominating. Hints of pineapple are also there, but rather in the background.
T: Quite similar to the smell. However, the emphasis is more on fermented pineapple while plum and pastry dough are a bit more subtle here. Quite sweet, but not overly so. Slightly tart.
F: Juicy and almost smoothie-like.
O: Another great example of Mortalis' ability to showcase all off a beer's ingredients in a proper way without prioritizing one over the other. Great flavor combination, too. You can't go wrong with their fruited sours, but this one's definitely one of the better ones I've had. Very very good.
