This Fruited Sour was brewed in collaboration with Imprint Beer Co. It blends Strawberry, Pineapple, Coconut, and cream together to form just one of this monster’s many heads. Keep your eyes peeled for even more flavor combinations. Contains dairy products.

Drank from a 1 pint / 16 fl oz can purchased on Tavour
Served in a tulip
The beer poured insanely thick and gloppy looking, even by Mortalis standards. Chunks of sediment floated throughout the pinkish-tinged, light tan liquid. A dramatic, large bubbled, three-finger tall mass topped the body and slowly dropped to a long-lasting, frothy crown. A wall of sediment blanketed the glass from top to bottom.
The aroma was amazing, albeit straightforward, and definitely reminded me of a piña colada. Sweet coconut cream notes dominated. Pineapple also came through strong. There was a hint of bright strawberry too.
The flavor profile was very similar to the nose and equally impressive. Again, a piña colada definitely came to mind. Nice sweet-tart pineapple presence up front. Silky coconut cream notes were apparent in the center. Hint of strawberry on the back end. More lingering pineapple and coconut notes in the finish.
The mouthfeel was just as intense as the other aspects of the beer. It was super thick and gloppy, like a fruit smoothie, with occasional chunks of (what seemed to be) a mix of puréed pineapple and coconut cream. The liquid contained a fine but fairly zippy carbonation that gave this otherwise dense fruited sour a sense of lightness on the palate.
Mortalis are neither known for their subtlety or nuance, and this beer was an unapologetic clone of a piña colada in beer form. Whatever your thoughts might be on this style of beer, this collaboration definitely accomplished its goal.

Total milkshake feel, no carbonation, feels like a true smoothie and nothing like a beer. Very yummy.

Can purchased from Caramel Bakery and Bar in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a very milky looking pinkish/orange, with a small head, and tons of sticky lacing all down the glass.
This is absolutely ridiculous, and takes the cake as the farthest away from beer that I've ever seen one of these Hydras, or any beer in the style. It's certainly delicious, but the addition of that much cream to the beer is honestly shocking. The coconut and the cream dominates over the other fruits, making it taste essentially like a melted milkshake.
This is thick, gloopy, and super creamy (obviously) with a fairly decent drinkability despite the big heaviness on this one.
I imagine a ton of people will view this one as a couple steps too far. It's absolutely absurd, but I can't deny it tastes good.
