No canning date. Can to snifter.
L: Pours a muddy pinkish red with no head and fruit sediment floating all over the place.
S: Sweet red berries, plum and cherry.
T: Mainly boysenberry with subtle hints of plum. Fruity, tart and slightly sweet.
F: Smoothie-like consistency with a medium carbonation.
O: Good beer, but not quite as good as most other Hydras I‘ve had before. The fruitiness is a bit one-dimensional here with a clear focus on boysenberry. Plum sounds like an interesting addition, but unfortunately it’s hardly discernible.

Opaque Laffy Taffy red with a Pepto pink carbonation that disperses to a fuzzy collar leaving behind a little chunky sediment and film.
Expectedly thick and juicy, but not too thicc, it's also really herbal and vinous, as though orchard fresh. Prickly pear dominates the finish, but plum takes ownership of the start, while passion fruit accents with its a light spice throughout.
The finish is pretty clean and only slightly sticky.

16oz. can into a Founders snifter.
Pours muddy and viscous. At least the color is pretty nice. A pastel pink/purple. Passion fruit is apparent on the nose. I also get hints of sewer, plum, and farts. Weirdly funky. Beer opens passion fruit and plum. Slightly tart, sweet, with a seedy zing. Sweet plum and more passion fruit in the middle with the coarseness of the plum addition. Sweet and fresh at the finish. Juicy. Body is moderate to full. Viscous, with moderate carbonation. Chunky on the palate and goes down messy with a lingering finish. I'm not a huge fan of chunky beer.
Like all its brethren, not beer, but delicious.
