No canning date. Can to snifter.
Look: Pours a muddy red ocher with a bubbly large-pored head that is quite stable and dissipates after a while leaving a thick layer of fruit sediment.
Smell: Fruity and sweet. Strawberry is dominating here with mango also in play.
Taste: Even though watermelon can hardly be smelled, it is balanced quite nicely with strawberry and mango tastewise. Rather sweet, but not overly so, with some subtle tart hints.
Feel: Very thick and smoothie-like. Carbonation is clearly present all the way.
Overall: Prime example of Mortalis‘ ability of putting together a rather unusual flavor combination without prioritizing one ingredient over the other. Great balance. Not too sweet. Very fruity with the typical Mortalis mouthfeel. Outstanding beer.
