Deep purple tone, thin layer of foam that fades fast. Gritty film in the glass, not pretty.
Aroma is somewhat artificial marshmallow, blue cotton candy, fake lactose, and mixed berry yogurt.
Taste is fruit forward thankfully, some black raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry yogurt, becoming cloyingly sweet over time.
Twangy and bitter aspirin in the aftertaste, telltale lactose giving it that artificial quality. Medium bodied with low carb, acidity is overpowered by the sugar.
I’m a sucker for black raspberry and saw it was from a highly rated brewery, but will skip these in the future.
