This Double IPA starts with a blend of Citra and Simcoe hops. The base then receives a large addition of Nectaron hops in the whirlpool and dry hop. Tropical pineapple meets an explosion of passion fruit flavor.

Look - Pours a light hazy straw color with a very nice head.

Smell - Very citrusy; maybe orange juice and light pineapple.

Taste - Citrus mostly; not much 'traditional' hop flavor.

Feel - Feels about standard for an imperial IPA.

Overall - I bit too much citrus for my personal liking.

Hazy pineapple/OJ. Intense tropical juicy hop aroma and flavor. OK balance with little to no bitterness. Medium bodied and fairly smooth. It’s a’ight. Too NZ hop character for me.

16oz can from Tavour. One of my favorite beer series. Hazy golden pour, one finger creamy white head, rings of lacing, lots of "floaties". Fruity aroma, tangy citrus gives way to stone fruit. Taste opens up with some ABV burn, nectarines, orange peel, and some dank, floral notes.

Purchased 1 day ago at Mortalis Avon, pours glug glug with a more yellow color than golden like a mimosa, rich froth head that retracted back to a soapy layer and sticky sweet lacin* on the glass. Wow, aroma is very delightful peaches, passion fruit. Taste is zesty grapefruit , lime zest, peach, passion fruit. As it’s been in the glass a bit, the pineapple comes out, zinger lime, smacky sweet goodness. Feel is soft, sticky, creamy, smacky, The OldManBearMa series is my favorite in Mortalis and each iteration features a defining hop in the whirlpool and dry hop over the Citra / Simco base. Each version has been great! Happy Easter Cheers!

On tap at The Richmond in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like pineapple juice, marijuana, pine, nectarine, and passion fruit.

The OldManBearMa series continues to easily be Mortalis’ best hoppy series. It’s super tropical and fruity, with a clean and zesty bitterness on the finish. It’s well balanced.

This is really drinkable, smooth, with a creamy finish.

This is extremely enjoyable, and goes down super easy.
