Murky purple color with a thin pinkish head. The aroma features notes of blueberry, raspberry, and a hint of walnut. The flavor is moderately sweet, balanced by a bright, fruity tartness. Light, refreshing, and genuinely tasty.

Can into Nucleated Tulip (Can date 11/25/25)
Look: Dark cloudy purple, with some sediment, poured a 1 finger frothy, purple head which which slowly dissipated leaving behind a "sticky" residue
Smell: Marshmallow with a sour patch kid tartness. Very light hint of nuttiness, strong raspberry jam sweetness and blue berry soda. Medium strength
Taste: Sweet Raspberry and blueberry soda, with a touch of jam. Some lime in there that lends to a light tartness. Some vanilla mixed with a wisp of walnut. Finish carries a fresh raspberry and blueberry aftertaste with a touch of biscuit malt
Feel: Full bodied, and a touch viscous, with a moderate-ish carbonation which allows it to be somewhat crisp yet smooth
Overall: If the taste followed the smell a more this would be a standout, but overall its good, just not my favorite

Blueberry Yoplait yogurt. Loads of berry & red fruit, w/ vanilla & just a touch of nuttiness. Boozy smoothie vibes, with a touch of tartness on a thick, smooth finish.

16oz can at share. Murky cranberry pour, pinkish frothy head. Aroma is berries, with a lean on the raspberry and light notes of vanilla. Taste is sweet and fruity, berry mixture, soome marshmallow. Chunky pour, thick, creamy.

Not usually a fan of the thicker shake type beers, but this one was worth the extra money. Delicious.

Drank from a 1 pint/16 fl.oz. can purchased at Gordon’s Fine Wines & Liquors, Watertown, MA
Served in a tulip
The beer pour a viscous and completely opaque, deep blueberry hue. A thin, frothy, violet colored crown topped the liquid, but it quickly dissolved. There was no head and zero lacing. A wall of fine sediment coated the glass and stuck until the drink’s end.
Blackberry seemed to dominate in the aroma, even though this beer apparently contained none. Really fresh and bright. Fairly sweet, but in a fruity and natural sort of way. Raspberry was noticeable as well. Some vanilla/marshmallow appeared as the beer warmed. Both the blueberry and the walnut were lost on me however.
Like in the aroma, blackberry seemed most prominent. Apparently this may have been a result of the blueberry (which is always a tough flavor for me to pick out in a beer) combined with the raspberry. Tart raspberry notes came through as the beer moved along the palate. Some vanilla was noticeable in the center. Moderately sweet overall but well balanced. More berry-like tartness on the back end and in the finish. Touch of lingering acidity after the swallow.
Excellent rich, viscous, full bodied mouthfeel. Creamy, slick and smooth on the palate. Almost smoothie like. The liquid contained a super fine, mellow effervescence that worked nicely.
Like nearly all Mortalis fruited sours, this beer was really enjoyable. That said, given the beer’s list of adjuncts, I was hoping for something a bit more complex and interesting.
