This is a pretty interesting combination of adjuncts for a Smoothie Sour, raspberry and banana sounds like a good combination already, but the addition of granola and yogurt to make it mimic a parfait is super cool. Let’s get right into it
Pours an opaque brownish pink with a finger of pinkish white head that fades to a ring and leaves decent lacing
The smell immediately reminds me of being a kid making milkshakes out of vanilla ice cream and whatever fruit was around. Smells like nostalgia. I’m picking up on aromas of banana, tart raspberry, strawberry candy, vanilla ice cream, lemon juice, vanilla yogurt, and light brown sugar
It’s sweeter than I was expecting in taste but there’s still a nice subtle tartness to it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting raspberry jam, strawberry ice cream, vanilla yogurt, banana bread, brown sugar, lemon zest, and light granola. The swallow brings notes of tart raspberry, strawberry candy, vanilla yogurt, brown sugar, lemon zest, and granola
A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth and slick beer. Finishes a tad sticky but it doesn’t hurt the drinkability
This one is super fun, though it could use a bit more tartness to cut through the sweet notes
