This Double IPA was brewed in collaboration with Brujos Brewing. We started off with a pale soft base and hopped it with Lupomax Citra, NZ Cascade, and Peacharine hops from Freestyle Hops. When UV light is held to the can the label art becomes Grimm.

Pours cloudy yellow with a fairly thick appearance, nice fluffy white head
Aromas of citrus, pineapple, mango, and hard candy
Taste is full and juicy, nice balance between sweet and bitter
Mouthfeel is decidedly chewy, starts out sweet and finishes with a lingering bittersweet finish, not real heavy for it’s thick appearance
Overall it’s another fine beer from Mortalis, nicely balanced and full tasting notes but drinks fairly light

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden pour, thin , tight layer of white foam, spotty lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, mango and guava. Fruity taste, tropical, guava, melon, light floral notes.

Pours soft milky yellow with an ebullient head that suds down the glass. Omg the aroma is fantastic starburst lemon watermelon . From Tavour “ Each sip conjures notes of fresh squeezed OJ, ripe pineapple, and succulent stonefruit. A touch of bubblegum sweetness and white grape follow while subtle grapefruit pith and floral nuances linger after the pillow-soft finish.” yup!
Feels soft juicy pillowy. This is excellent , nuance of alcohol is undetectable. High recommend!

On tap at The Richmond in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a very soft looking golden bright orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like soft juiciness, with orange, lemon candy, pineapple, lime, peach, and nectarine.
This is probably the best Mortalis IPA that I’ve had yet. Their IPA brewing has really, really improved since the beginning. This is a peachy, nectarine, orange-y juice bomb, with a just a hint of grapefruity bitterness. It’s really, really soft while remaining punchy.
This is light bodied, soft, pillowy, and juicy, with a fantastic drinkability.
This is really impressive stuff, truly. I would drink IPAs more often if they all tasted like this.
