Gifted to me in person last weekend from a fellow BA. Kept cold until served. Poured from an undated 16-oz can to a bulbous, tulip-like glass.
Pours out opaque, hazy light orange/yellow. A pure white meringue-like head is large and although it fades in a few minutes to a ring, it graffiti-laces well throughout the session.
The aroma is mild, but reminiscent of grapefruit with herbal notes.
The taste however is very berry with a hop bite up front and sweetness on the back. This is opposite of a lot of the NEIPAs I have reviewed. I think I like this sequence better. Alcohol is noticeable, but not intrusive.
Viscosity and carbonation are about average for the style.
A very good beer overall, nice reverse hop/sweet progression.

Purchased last week in Avon, NY, a blast of peach aroma right out of the can! Oofa that is awesome! Pours glug glug golden opaque with a rich merengue head I had to burrow through for that first sip. Taste is delic balance of sweet and bitter in the back end. Tastes include peach , passion fruit (yes, I have had passion fruit) , soft lemon, limey. I find the soft bitter more lime than pine, but it’s Mother’s Day, so forgive my maternal taste buds (Mario my cat looks up to me as his Omniparent). Feel is mild sweet, low smacky, very creamy. Goddamn Son, git me som more! Excellent! High Reccomend!

Pours a hazy golden straw with two fingers of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Very aromatic: aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruit, and pine. Taste follows nose. Very enjoyable.

Hazy yellow opaque grapefruit juice pour. Floral and fruity nose with a lacing cap of white foam. Just a delicious array of flavors are choreographed from first taste to finish--citrus, peach, grass, stone fruit, with pine resin to close out a long, luxurious finish. Only surprise is the Yakima Blend name had me prepped for a West Coaster. But believe me, I'm not complaining!

16oz can that knocked my socks off, seriously good execution here; beautiful hazy orange with a tight head of white bubbles. Zesty and floral aromatics that run the gamut instead of showcasing only one aspect...stone fruit, pine, pith, flowers and grass, lemony, bready, soft, creamy. "Full" aromatics and palate. Delicious.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy yellow pour, thin fluffy white head, streaky lacing. Aroma is bready malts with a few minor spicy notes. Taste is bready, light savory flavors, fruity, zesty with a latent bitterness that stays on the palate. Smooth, tasty

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like stone fruit - peach, nectarine, maybe, with grapefruit, berry, and bubblegum.
This is one of, if not the best, Mortalis IPAs yet, with such a soft tropical, citrusy, and peachy hop character, with a ton of juiciness. There’s also some clean bitterness, but not too much, on the end.
This is soft, creamy, and super drinkable.
Mortalis is absolutely turning a new corner on their IPAs lately.
