Tropical; coconut dominates the other fruits in aroma and flavor. Hints of pineapple and mango. Nice fruit/tart balance. Medium bodied fruit smoothie.

Yellow smoothie. Extra chunky.
Nose is pina colada with a sprinkle of star fruit and banana.
Beer starts off pina colada. Plenty of pineapple and coconut. Touches of star fruit, banana, and vanilla in the back.
Mouthfeel is smoothie. Rich, chunky. Layers of adjunct. Accented finish. Filmy, lingering aftertaste.
Could use a touch less sweet cream and vanilla here but this is very tasty otherwise.

These are all fruits that are par for the course in a tropical Smoothie Sour, with the exception of kiwi. You don't see that one in many beers at all so I'm hoping there's actually a significant amount in this one. Let's crack it open and find out
Pours an opaque milky yellow with 2 fingers of sludgy yellow orange head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
I'm not really getting any kiwi in the nose, which is a damn shame because at least this wouldn't be super sweet if it was present. I'm picking up on aromas of orange juice, mango skin, raw coconut, pineapple juice, banana smoothie, vanilla, and light almond
It's also very sweet in taste, just the slightest tanginess comes in at the end. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting pineapple juice, orange juice, vanilla ice cream, overripe mango, nutmeg, raw coconut, and overripe banana. The swallow brings notes of overripe banana, orange juice, vanilla ice cream, lime zest, pineapple juice, raw coconut, and light almond
A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a rich beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries out over time
Ehh, this one is just okay. It needs more of a tart bite and I know Mortalis can deliver that

16oz can ($10) poured into an oversize wine goblet...pours epicly thick and turbid with a foamy yellow head...looks like a fruit smoothie for sure! On the nose, huge banana/coconut vibes right off the bat with a solid dose of vanilla...smooth body, thick with fruit residue...strong pineapple flavors arrive and combine with the banana for real smoothie experience.
Exactly like blended banana, coconut and frozen pineapple with a shot of vanilla extract. Good stuff. Barely beer.
