This one pours a dark golden brown color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like caramel, milk chocolate, toffee, salted chocolate truffles, oak, and bourbon.

This is a really great blend, with the barleywine and stout melding together very well, with he lines between the styles very blurred. It feels evenly blended, with lots of chocolate, and some light roastiness and coffee, with a creamy caramel, toffee, and candy-like barleywine note coming through. There’s a nice oakiness on the very end here, as well.

This is creamy, medium bodied, and silky, with very little booziness.

This might be the best blend in this series yet – I enjoyed this a lot.

Sweet chocolate covered toffee bits, butterscotch and raisins, and a balanced, vanilla bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a viscous and decadent, chocolate and caramel malty, and an integrated bourbon barrel finish. Wow! So tasty...as it warms, the mouthfeel still feels heavy, but has a softer component to it. This is really good!
