This Double IPA features a blend of Krush, Citra, and Mosaic hops. The trio showcases passionfruit, peach, and citrus flavors. This version has been conditioned on passionfruit purée to amplify the tropical hop flavor.

On tap at Mortalis Brewing in Buffalo, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like, obviously, passionfruit, with some apricot, peach, and orange.
The passionfruit addition doesn’t obviously swing this in a ridiculously fruity direction, as the regular Pan kind of tasted like passionfruit, with lots of stone fruit, anyway. There’s a just a little bit of pleasant bitterness on the finish.
This is creamy but light bodied, with a nice drinkability.
This is really solid, Mortalis tends to do fruit added IPAs pretty well.

Purchased at the Avon,NY brewpub 1 week ago. Pours a beautiful golden yellow with a superb pillowy head that has remained intact. Aroma is all passion fruit and taste follows. It is sweet, prolly with the purée they add, and it is very whipped fruit smoothie , rich, piney in the finish. Feel is lush, smacky at a 3. Overall it’s got that stone fruit sweetness in full force, tasty and I’m going to sip it for a while.
