On tap at The Richmond by Mortalis in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light golden brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells mildly toasty, with some subtle floral hops.
This is pretty lightly flavored, but that’s to style. All of the flavors are pretty well balanced here – there’s toasty and bready malt, not too much sweetness, and just a kiss of floral hop character.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and very drinkable.
For the most part, I’ve enjoyed the 8bit series, as they represent a really nice departure from what made Mortalis so popular in the first place.
