This Gluten Free Fruited Sour is focused on the lighter side of fruit & flavor. This version blends strawberry, pineapple, and coconut together to create lower ABV, lighter bodied, and easier drinking version of our beloved Hydra Smoothies.

I had it on the beach in Amelia island. Nice and refreshing. Tasty. I actually get more notes of orange and some cream. It’s good. Light hints of coconut.

On tap at The Richmond by Mortalis Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a thick looking reddish orange color, with a small head, and lots of sticky lacing.
This smells wonderfully coconutty, with a fruity and tropical feel with the strawberry and pineapple.
This is still not really my thing ultimately, but I definitely like it better than Hydra. It’s definitely lighter, less heavy, and less just overtly gloopy. There’s a lot of coconut here, and the strawberry and pineapple are fairly well balanced. It’s sweet but there is a little bit of tartness too, and that’s unexpected for Hydra.
This is creamy, medium bodied, and very drinkable.
I really appreciate the concept behind this, as the heavily fruited smoothie sour thing has kind of passed me by at this point.
