This Fruited Smoothie Sour is brewed in celebration of May the fourth. We have blended blue raspberry, strawberry, pineapple, cream, and coconut together to form just one of this monster’s many heads.

More murky lime green than blue. Decent pineapple and blue raspberry aroma and flavor by way too much coconut. OK balance; not overly tart. Coconut > Fruit character. Medium bodied and fairly creamy.

Gifted cold from a fellow BA and kept cold until served. Poured to a Nonic glass from an undated 16-oz. can.
The beer is milky-baby blue with a hint of green, completely opaque and headless. I actually could not do the full pour right away because it kind of creeped me out.
The aroma is a strong fruit candy, raspberry, coconut and starch for some reason.
The taste is actually okay, if you're in the mood. Raspberry/ coconut Jolly rancher with extra sweetness thrown in. But the finish gives a pucker.
The mouthfeel is a little heavy, with a slight chalkiness.
Not a style I ever choose, but I tried to rate it to that style. I am sure there is a niche market for this.

Drank from a 1 pint/16 fl. oz. can purchased on Tavour
Served in a tulip
Drank on May 4th to celebrate Star Wars Day.
This was undoubtedly the most crazy looking beer I have ever seen. It poured a completely opaque, greenish-teal hue that was very reminiscent of Grogu’s favorite beverage. A thin, fizzy cap topped the body, but it quickly dissolved. As the liquid receded, a transparent film of sediment coated the glass.
The aroma was outstanding and reminded me of a berry-infused piña colada. Fresh coconut came through big time. Loads of juicy pineapple as well. Freshly picked strawberry notes were apparent too. Some ripe raspberry was also noticeable. Overall, super fruity and sweet but still balanced and nuanced. As the beer sat, both the coconut and the strawberry intensified.
The flavor profile was nearly identical to the aroma and just as impressive. Super sweet and tropical fruit forward but remarkably well balanced. Again, the piña colada presence dominated. Juicy pineapple notes came through big time. Loads of freshly shaved coconut too. Ripe strawberry notes were apparent in the center. Bit of raspberry as well. Notes of juicy pineapple appeared on the back end and carried into the finish. Excellent sweetness and acidity. More coconut, sweet strawberry and raspberry lingered after the swallow.
The mouthfeel was slick and full bodied but not quite as viscous as many of the other fruited sours in Mortalis’s lineup. The liquid contained a super fine, spritzy effervescence that gave the beer a nice zippiness on the palate.
Hydra Blue Milk is a fantastic beer that went far beyond the kitsch factor. Mortalis’s fruited sours are always impressive, and this was one of their best to date.

Lol just bought my 1st sours at the highly rated Mortalis Breweryin Avon,NY. Canned 4/30 super fresh pours glug glug glug thickly out of the can (splitting with the wife), appearance suggests melted lime sherbet , little head has milky residue on the glass. Smell is coconut , pineapple as is the taste predominantly. Tart, sweet, buzzy in the mouth with a creamy feel. Tastes like the first drink on the deck in spring where you think the kids can fend for themselves for dinner. Also, my wife loves this so we have a drink we can share. Love Mortalis Avon!
