This Double IPA highlights Crosby Estate hops. A large helping of Idaho 7, Vista, and Chinook meld together to give us flavors of tropical stone fruit, citrus, and a hint of herbal pine for a perfect balance.

Hazy pineapple/OJ with a nice creamy head. Big Stonefruit hop aroma and flavor with a touch of pine and dankness. Good balance with light bitterness. Medium bodied and creamy smooth.

No date on can, into a wide wine glass.
Pours a thick orange with copious foam. Aroma is funky white grapes and grapefruit, very bitter. Flavor follows nose quite well. Intense white grape fruitiness and funk follow a little vegetal bitterness and citrus. There's a good hit of pine and stone fruit to keep it swayed towards bitterness, and this one seems much more bitter and aggressive compared to the usual fruity, smooth ideas of the Mortalis IPAs I've tried. Mouthfeel is very thick and full, letting the hop flavors shine and allowing the funk and complexities bloom.
Overall a great DIPA that lets funk and weird flavors bloom.

Bought at the Avon ,NY brewery last weekend, cracked 5/24 pours a glug glug golden murk with a rich merengue head that has hung on eventually appears like a latte froth. Aroma is a big Wiggles Fruit Salad yummy yummy peach, melon, stone fruit. Taste is peach, melon, sweety , subtle pine, hint of alcohol. Feel is creamy fluff concoction. This was a shot in the dark at the brewery, but really you never go wrong at Mortalis

Appearance: Pours a cloudy goldenstraw with a three finger head; strong retention with clumps of lace sticking
Smell: Peach, mango and melon aromatics with a kick of sugary Cara Cara orange
Taste: Peach and mango forward with a touch of melon; through the middle, the Cara Cara tones emerge; the finish is sugary though there is a touch of dankness underneath
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; slightly creamy
Overall: Enjoyable, even though it is a bit sweeter than I would like

A: hazy matte burnt yellow color with a 1/2 finger white head
A: passionfruit, tangerine, and loads of guava. Strawberry kiwi, orange juice, mango, clementines. Very tropical aroma
S: loads of orange juice and guava upfront. Mango and pineapple behind that. Tangerines, blueberry cobbler, and some sharp alcohol. Sweet bread and a faint hint of earthy hops at the end
M: super fluffy medium mouthfeel with low-medium carbonation
O: aroma on this is better than the taste I think. It’s a rich tasting beer that I would actually call a NEDIPA. Sweet and sugary is how I would describe this with a moderate alcohol presence
