Brewed with our friends at Finback, the harmonious fusion of hand-selected Citra, New Zealand Motueka, and Peacharine hops in this IPA elevates the senses to new heights. With each sip, a symphony of lively tropical fruit flavors dances on the palate, transporting you to a sun-drenched paradise. The zesty burst of citrus that follows creates an exhilarating explosion of tangy delight. It's a tantalizing experience that leaves you craving another sip, beckoning you to explore the depths of this brew.

Hazed apricot juice. Tropical, peachy and light funky hop aroma and flavor with light dank character. Nice balance with little to no bitterness. Medium bodied and fairly smooth for 6.5%.

Purchased 2 weeks ago at the Avon,NY brewery , pours a lighter yellow murk with a bounty head that reduced to a ring with lacing. Aroma was lemon, peach scintillating out of the can. Taste follows aroma , which brings melon, some dank. Feel is light and creamy. Very nice ipa on this 87’ day on the deck.

No date on can but presumably fresh, into a wide wine glass.

Pours a pale, very hazy yellow with very little foam, but I most likely poured too slowly and too cold. Aroma is peach rings and herbaceous dankness, very potently vegetal. Some mango and overripe fruit as well. Flavor is really light but really good, balancing a fine line between bright, juicy tropical fruit and aggressive dankness. The sweetness is even tempered and opposed by a pleasant, soft bitterness that finishes sweet, slightly malty, and coating. There's a tiny bit of white wine funk in between the cannabis and fruit flavors and a catty skunkiness very slightly present. Mouthfeel is crazy good. Very creamy and smooth. It's supremely drinkable, and while I wouldn't reach for this first thing on a hot day due to the coating finish, you can unfortunately enjoy it very very quickly. A great treat on a cold rainy day.

Overall a smash hit of an IPA. Lighter in flavor and smoother than what I usually drink, Finback and Mortalis prove that lower ABV is still a worthy vessel for huge hop charges and complex flavors, without overbearing alcohol or brutal bitter-sweetness.
