When I’m in the mood for a dark strong beer, this is what I want. The dominant note is cinnamon. It comes through like a glorious cinnamon donut. It’s like a boozy Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I could see the maple I suppose but this is cinnamon. And it’s delicious.

on draft at the Richmond location
inky black in color, not much head. I do get the cinnamon and marshmallow in the aroma and taste. But on the borderline of being too sweet. thick, sticky mouthfeel

Poured from a 500mL bottle into a Perennial ScD tumbler. Pours a thick, inky black with a small mocha brown foam cap. Chocolate and marshmallow on the nose with hints of maple and cinnamon in the background. Cinnamon is there much more on the taste. Finishes a little dry. Still tasty though. Doesn’t drink like 10% at all. Thick mouthfeel. Solid imperial stout.
