Canned 4/22/26:
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) light golden to yellow color with a white head. SRM of 6-7. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas orange, grapefruit, lemon citrus, and pine, some faint herbal notes
(4.25)
Flavor: Flavors follow with orange, floral citrus, and some pine upfront. Turns into grapefruit, followed by venous white grape and gooseberry. Finishes with some tropical sweetness underneath. (4.25)
Feel: Medium body, appropriate, carbonation, finishes, juicy, tropical, relatively clean and dry.(4.00)
Compared to Mortalis Phaethon 5/26: Pours similar, milder aromas. More zesty vinous and floral citrus. Less sweet grape juice. Winner: Strange Philosophies
Overall: Philosophies 113. Fantastic Citra and Mosaic base plus some NZH104 to give it vinous and floral properties. Finishes relatively dry, extremely drinkable, and clean. Hard to beat the complexity of Citra, Mosaic and New Zealand hops. Amazing Citra, Mosaic and NZ hop trio. (Rating: 4.16)

On tap at Mortalis FLX in Avon, NY.
This one pours a very hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells very citrusy and orange-forward, with some pineapple, marijuana, and pine.
I really like the unique hop combinations that have been found lately in this series. This has a really fresh and zesty bitterness to it – weedy, dank, and piney, with, a lot ton of orange and pineapple as well. There’s a tiny touch of hop burn, but nothing too distracting.
This is really drinkable and crisp, with a nice smooth finish.
This is another really solid entry to this series, a series that has been really hitting hard lately.
