This Imperial Stout was brewed to emulate the flavors of chocolate chip cream cheese bars. The base stout was brewed with flavors of cream cheese frosting and conditioned on cacao nibs, vanilla, and graham crackers.

This beer is shiny jet black and allows no light to pass. It is thick and syrupy with a micro-fine ring of golden brown foam. A constellation of points form a kind of lace above, while a thick, viscous film draws the lace down after each sip.
The aroma opens with vanilla and roasted malt. It is complex, with cream cheese, graham crackers, chocolate syrup, and extreme sweetness as it warms.
The flavor has every nuance of the aroma showcased without shame. Charred malt is more prominent, and there is an added rich black espresso that falls just short of demitasse. Sweetness is well controlled (especially for a Mortalis beer) by the bitterness. The finish is long and luscious.
This one has a dense body and syrupy texture. Carbonation adds a faint prickle, while alcohol is warm and its 10%abv is on full display.
This is certainly a dessert beer, and one to be savored in small sips. I can imagine it probably would go well with either Black Forest cake or Boston Cream pie.
