This Imperial Stout was aged for 14 months in Willet bourbon barrels. Then, we conditioned the beer on house roasted peanuts and Banana. Waves of silky chocolate and creamy peanut butter are met with sweet ripe bananas.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like milk chocolate, nuttiness, caramelized banana, coffee, and caramel.
Banana and peanuts is definitely going to be a really tasty combination. This has an almost syrupy caramel and milk chocolate vibe that keeps this a bit too sweet, and I honestly wish there was more actual banana and peanut here. There’s a nice subtle oakiness here, but I also definitely wish there was more barrel character here.
This is very thick, almost syrupy, with very little booziness.
I’ve had better barrel aged beers from Mortalis, but this was still quite tasty, albeit, in smaller doses.
