This Double IPA is part of our exploration series. Too often, we become complacent and forget to push the boundaries and search the unending hop combinations to find a stroke of genius. Time to get back to class! This version features Citra, Southern Passion, Galaxy, and Peach puree.

can into nonic pint (Canned 1/6/26)
Look: Super hazy deep golden yellow. Pouring a creamy 1 finger head which quickly dissipated into a cap.
Smell: Juicy citrus, peachy sweetness, florals, and a very light touch of malt behind everything. Weak nose
Taste: Juicy citrus upfront, with some mingling of malt. Hoppy florals and fresh peeled tangerine. Light bitterness, especially for a double IPA. Finish is where the peach really comes through. Sweet peach with a malt touch. I get some alcohol at the end
Feel: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy texture
Overall: Good brew. Its very different in terms of double IPAs. Its not super complex, but the peach adds a near mouth watering factor that makes you just want to take sip after sip

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy murky orange golden pour, creamy head yields rings of chunky lacing. Peach was the first aroma that hits, right at the pour. Taste is stone fruit with a little blast of dank. Fruity mild dryness. Creamy feel.

On tap at Mortalis Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one pours a very hazy and glowing orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells obviously pretty heavily of peach, with some floral notes, passionfruit, and tangerine.
This has a really velvety and lush flavor to it, definitely aided by the addition of peach puree here. It’s super juicy, with tons of pineapple and orange flavor outside of the obvious peach sledgehammer.
This is thick, as IPAs go, and very creamy, but quite drinkable, with much less hop burn than I’d expect for a fruit-aided IPA.
I couldn’t drink a whole bunch of this, but it’s certainly quite fun and quite decadent.
