We brewed this Double IPA in collaboration with our Northern friends, Messorem out of South-West Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Hopped with Freestyle Nelson, Freestyle Nelson Hop Shots, Nectaron, and Citra, expect intense tropical fruits with a citrus aroma. From the Grim Reaper's brewery to our tanks, kick back, relax, and enjoy.

Canned 1/12/26
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5-10% clarity) medium and bright orange color with a massive white head. SRM of 8. (4.25)
Aroma: Aromas of dank citrus, greens, earthy cannabis, and stonefruit notes. As it sets the dankness settles out. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor follows with dank citrus, orange, lemon, lime, with dink greens, earthy cannabis, and some tropical, pineapple, stone fruit, and resinous melon. (4.00
Feel: Medium body, appropriate, carbonation, finishes, dank, earthy. (4.00)
Compared to Mortalis Ares Nelson 4/26: Pours darker. Stronger head. Less orange, berries, grape. More pineapple, peach, cannabis. Winner: Ares Nelson
Overall: Aroma right off the pour is dank and cannabis notes, resinous stonefruit. Not quite what I expected. Though as it sits, more pineapple and peach flavors develop and the dankness mellows out. Lots of pineapple and peach. Smooth. Nicely done, but not my favorite. (Rating: 4.02)
