Quite hazy and dark for the style, and even pouring kind of thick out of the tap, appearance is a sort of dull orange-tan with a thick khaki head that slowly settles to a thin film but thick collar.
As expected, the listed ABV's booze is not concealed, which takes the lead ahead of some phenols, which themselves are more clovey than I prefer. But there's also a light acidity that exhibits a perceptible red wine character. There's little in the way of straw or farmhouse funk, but they are far in the background if you reach for them.
This is closer maybe to the likes of The Bruery's wares, and in that vein, not bad, but a bit too heavy on the horsepower.
