Not bad for a memphis beer. It pours thick and has a sweet taste but still strong alcohol.

From a 32 oz growler from Cash Saver in Memphis poured into a nonic glass.
Appearance: A pretty, brownish amber colored doppelbock with a tan head which dissipated fairly quickly with moderate lacing.
Smell: Toasty,caramel
Taste: Follows aroma with an alcohol warmth-not for the faint hearted (9.5 ABV).
Feel: Pleasant consistent with this powerful brew.
This drink can sneak up on you-good flavor and quite enjoyable but clearly not sessionable. Great winter selection. Very enjoyable at home.
