12 oz can, dated 11/20/20, into Odell snifter.
Dark black with a brown finger of head that stays pretty stable and leaves lacing where it was. Very pretty.
Holy peppermint patty. This is indistinguishable. Amazing mint and chocolate nose, with even a little bit of graham mixed in. This is my jam, 100%.
This beer has a wonderful stout base, the flavor of the base beer really shines. It's just a well-constructed dry stout, with some added oat creaminess. Then you get sharp mint candies and rich, decadent melting chocolate piling on top. It's just a thing of beauty. There's even hints of chocolate graham cookie on the finish. SLURP!
Feel is medium-plus, with some busy carbonation, and a hint of oiliness. Moderate alcohol heat. It's not sticky at all either, nodding once again to what I felt was a dry stout base.
Overall, an incredible take on the mint stout. Dare I say it's the best one I've had. I have to find out where I purchased this and go get more. This was incredible.
